Chairperson
Mr. Liam Twigger, is the Managing Director and Principal of PCF Capital Group, a licensed and independent investment banking and corporate advisory business based in Perth, Western Australia. Under Mr. Twigger’s stewardship, PCF Capital Group has grown to become one of Australia’s leading independent resources sector corporate advisory firms. He is also a Non-Executive Director of the Western Australian Government owned Gold Corporation (trading as the Perth Mint), a gold refining and marketing business that refine 300 tonnes of gold per annum and has an annual turnover of AUD$23billion. Mr. Twigger holds a Graduate Diploma in Business, a Bachelor of Economics and is a certified practicing accountant.

Mr Keith Marshall is based in the UK and has over 40 years’ experience in the mining sector and has worked on significant underground mines around the world. During the last fifteen years with Rio Tinto, Keith held senior mine leadership roles (General Manager and above). Keith’s last two operational roles with Rio Tinto were as Managing Director of the Palabora Mining Company in South Africa (during its successful transition to block caving) and three years as president of the Oyu Tolgoi Project in Mongolia.
Keith’s underground block cave mining experiences will provide SolGold with extensive knowledge and guidance for the development of the Alpala Project. Keith’s diverse technical and executive level operational leadership experiences broadens the Company’s skill base, and will play a key role in advising on strategic development decisions.

Brian Moller is a corporate partner in the Brisbane-based law firm Hopgood Ganim Lawyers, the Australian solicitors to the Company. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1981 and has been a partner at Hopgood Ganim since 1983. He practices almost exclusively in the corporate area with an emphasis on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions. Brian Moller holds an LLB Hons from the University of Queensland, a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association. Brian Moller acts for many publicly-listed resource and industrial companies and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the board, particularly in the corporate regulatory and governance areas. He is a non-executive director of ASX listed DGR Global Ltd, Dark Horse Resources Limited, Aguia Resources Ltd and Platina Resources Ltd and Chairman of ASX listed AusTin Mining Limited. General Manager-Underground Development and Mining
Steve is an underground mining engineer with over 20 years of project development and operations experience at world-class, large-scale mines in Australia and Indonesia. His career is built upon large scale underground mine design, scheduling, project development, mine commissioning and ramp-up. His experience includes 10 years at the Freeport underground block cave Grasberg mine expansions during which existing underground mines were expanded and two new super block caves were developed. The depth of these mines and their scale have few precedents. His experience also includes mine project development and establishment of sub-level cave and operations execution and planning of large-scale open-stoping mines including Olympic Dam with BHP, Telfer sub level cave construction with Newcrest, Big Gossan Mine and Deep Mill Level Zone with Freeport Indonesia and Hilton and Enterprise mines with Mount Isa Mines.

Elodie Grant Goodey is a social performance professional with 25 years’ experience in societal risk assessment, social performance, human rights, government and civil society relations. She has a valuable track record of managing key stakeholders at executive and frontline levels in a FTSE100 company.
Elodie was formerly Head of Societal Issues and Relationships at BP, leading social policy management, social risk assessment, advocacy and stakeholder engagement. In this role, she was responsible for the company’s position on societal issues such as human rights, transparency and accountability and led the cross-functional team that drafted business and human rights policy, impacting communities and supply chains in more than 100 countries. She also provided non-technical risk assessment for new country entries and current operations and acted as the relationship manager for selected international NGOs and Responsible Investors. She represented BP on the Board of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI). She also worked as Head of Communications for BP’s Upstream business and as External Affairs Director for BP’s North Africa business (Algeria/Libya) where she led the reputation management and external affairs agenda in Algeria and Libya. Previously, Elodie worked for the BBC World Service and volunteered for a number of human rights NGOs. As a consultant over the past five years, Elodie has worked human rights and social performance projects for the extractive industry in Africa, Latin America and Europe.
Until January 2020, she was Non-Executive Director for Amerisur Resources, an E&P company operating in Colombia.
Elodie is trained in History and Politics at the University of London (UK) and the Sorbonne (France). She is based in the United Kingdom and is bilingual in English and French.
GENERAL MANAGER PROCESS AND METALLURGY
Dr. Greg Harbort has 33 years of in-depth experience in copper and precious metals extraction and mineral processing, including heap leaching, gravity concentration, flotation, leaching and purification, roasting, and fuming. He has authored 47 technical publications, contributed to seven books on mineral processing technology, flotation development and flotation optimization and is the co-author of “History of Flotation” and contributing author of SME “Mineral Processing & Extractive Metallurgy Handbook”.
Greg brings a wealth of porphyry copper experience to SolGold Plc, including five years working for Philex Mining Corp Padcal site, recognised as one of the world’s most efficient block cave operations. He also brings to this project, two year’s involvement with design, construction, commission and operation of the Minera Alumbrera concentrator in Argentina. Greg also spent five years working with the CMOC (China Molybdenum Co. Ltd) Northparkes operation on process optimisation, refurbishment and life of mine geo-metallurgical planning. In the two years prior to joining SolGold he was involved with design and life of mine geo-metallurgical planning for the Oyu Tolgoi concentrator expansion to allow treatment of the Hugo North block cave ore.
Greg holds a Ph.D. from University of Queensland, Australia, 2005 and holds a bachelor’s degree of Engineering Metallurgy, University of Queensland, 1990.

Ingo has 20 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience. He was instrumental in building the metals and mining practice of Hannam & Partners, a London based merchant bank, where he was advisor to a dozen UK and ASX listed mining stocks. Recognised as a highly numerate individual with experience across complex joint-venture, M&A, equity investments, capital markets and corporate finance transactions.
Formerly with Rio Tinto in business development, Capgemini in strategy consulting and Wienerberger AG in general management and corporate finance.

Peter is a Mining Engineer with 30 years in the mining industry which includes diverse work experience in corporate, mine operations and mine construction; experience in numerous locations around the world including Australia, Canada, USA, Africa, South America, Middle East, and Asia.
This has comprised of senior leadership roles within the mining industry that have included strategic planning, managing different groups based throughout the world, studies, planning and execution of multibillion-dollar projects, hands on mining operational experience in both open cut and underground gold and copper mines and operational readiness.
Prior to SolGold Peter has worked in various organisations including a range of roles at Barrick Gold Corporation and Placer Dome.
Manager, Communications & Investor Relations
Eliza graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Media and Communication in 2015. Since then, Eliza has worked in the Public Relations sector for the DGR Global Group covering communications, marketing, investor relations, events and design aspects for the company. Eliza has been working full-time with SolGold since November 2019 and manages the Company’s communications and investor relations.
Vice President of SolGold Ecuador
Andrew Taunton joined SolGold as Vice President in 2017, and is one of the legal representatives for the Ecuador group of companies. Andy oversees all day to day activities and leads government relations for the companies. Following graduation in the UK in Electrical Engineering, Andrew’s initial career in the medical diagnostic equipment industry took him world-wide. In 1991 he emigrated to Ecuador where he has lived almost continually for 29 years. Andrew is a fluent Spanish speaker.
His extensive business experience in Ecuador encompassed petroleum service activities as an entrepreneur, as an independent consultant representing multiple international aviation parts and services suppliers including Pratt and Whitney, holding senior management team roles in physical security and crisis management in the petroleum and mining industries and holding a major planning position for the transition of all stakeholders to Quito’s new airport. Andrew was COO for a TSX listed junior explorer with central Ecuador exploration activity and held the position of Security Manager for both Kinross Gold Corporation’s Fruta del Norte project in Ecuador and their Tasiast, Mauritania gold mine. This work has included being the President of the British Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce, one of the Founders of the British School in Quito and being a Consular Agent over many years for the British Embassy. As a result of his immediate response and international liaison activity following the major earthquake which hit Ecuador in 2016, Andrew was awarded the title of Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.
Head of Exploration at SolGold
Mr Jason Ward has been instrumental in the Company’s success to date. Having been involved in the Company since its inception in 2006, Jason has played a critical role in developing SolGold’s outstanding presence in Ecuador. Alongside developing the Cascabel project, in which capacity he is President of the Ecuadorean holding company Exploraciones Novomining S.A. (“ENSA”), and managing SolGold’s four 100% owned subsidiaries, which have produced an unrivalled exploration portfolio across the rest of Ecuador, Jason has created a fully comprehensive corporate infrastructure for SolGold in Ecuador, run via the Company’s office in Quito. In addition to Jason’s technical role he oversees all local labour force development, community relations, landholder relations and government relations.
Jason is an exploration geologist with 25 years’ experience. He has an extensive track record of successfully managing exploration teams working with a wide variety of cultures in challenging social, physical and geological terrains and remote locations around the world.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Geology and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Jason is also fluent in Spanish.

Dr Robert Weinberg gained his doctorate in geology from Oxford University in 1973. He has more than 40 years’ experience of the international mining industry and is an independent mining research analyst and consultant as well as an independent Non-Executive Director of a number of minerals exploration, development and mining companies. He is a fellow of the Geological Society of London and also a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. Prior to his current activities Robert was Managing Director, Institutional Investment at the World Gold Council, and a Director of Gold Bullion Securities. Previously he was a Director of the investment banking division at Deutsche Bank in London after having been head of the global mining research team at SG Warburg Securities. Robert has also held senior positions within Société Générale and was head of the mining team at James Capel & Co. He was formerly marketing manager of the gold and uranium division of Anglo American Corporation of South Africa Ltd. Dr Weinberg is a member of the Company’s Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Health, Safety, Environment and Community Committee.

Nicholas Mather graduated in 1979 from the University of Queensland with a B.Sc. (Hons, Geology). He has 35 years’ experience in exploration and resource company management in a variety of countries. His career has taken him to numerous countries exploring for precious and base metals and fossil fuels. Nicholas Mather has focused his attention on the identification of and investment in large resource exploration projects. He was managing director of BeMaX Resources NL (an ASX-listed company) from 1997 until 2000 and instrumental in the discovery of the world class Ginkgo mineral sand deposit in the Murray Basin in 1998. As an executive director of Arrow Energy NL (also ASX-listed) until his resignation in 2004, Nicholas Mather drove the acquisition and business development of Arrow’s large Surat Basin Coal Bed Methane project in south-east Queensland. He was managing director of Auralia Resources NL, a junior gold explorer, before its USD23 million merger with Ross Mining NL in 1995. He was a non-executive director of Ballarat Goldfields NL until 2004, having assisted that company in its recapitalisation and requotation on the ASX in 2003. He was also founder and Chairman of TSX-V listed Waratah Coal Inc until its $130m takeover by Minerology Pty Ltd in December 2008. Mr Clare is a partner at Bennett Jones LLP, one of Canada’s leading corporate law firms. He is a corporate and securities lawyer with extensive experience in the mining sector both domestically and internationally. He was extensively involved with SolGold’s TSX listing process and provides ongoing legal and corporate advice to the Company in relation to its Canadian regulatory and business matters. Mr Clare is recognised by Lexpert as a leading mining lawyer in Canada, and repeatedly recommended for his experience in mining, corporate finance and securities law by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. Mr Clare also currently acts as a Non-Executive Director of PJX Resources Inc, Riverside Resources Inc and Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd.

Mr Jones holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and joined Newcrest Mining in 2008. He is currently the Executive General Manager Wafi-Golpu (Newcrest / Harmony). He has held various senior management and executive roles within the Newcrest Group, including General Manager Projects, General Manager Cadia Valley Operations, Executive General Manager Projects and Asset Management, Executive General Manager Australian and Indonesian Operations, Executive General Manager Australian Operations and Projects, and Executive General Manager Cadia and Morobe Mining Joint Venture. Prior to joining Newcrest, Mr Jones worked for Rio Tinto.

Karl has over 25 years’ experience in the accounting profession across a wide range of business and industries. He has previously been contracted into CFO roles with ASX-listed resource companies Discovery Metals Limited and Meridian Minerals Limited, and as Company Secretary of ASX-listed Linc Energy Limited, Agenix Limited, Discovery Metals Limited and Global Seafood Australia Limited. Mr Schlobohm is a Chartered Accountant and holds Bachelor Degrees in Commerce and in Economics, and a Master Degree in Taxation. Mr Schlobohm is also contracted to act as the Company Secretary of ASX-listed DGR Global Limited, Dark Horse Resources Limited, Aus Tin Mining Limited and Armour Energy Limited.
Anna Legge has worked with SolGold since 2013, initially as a consultant before moving in house with SolGold and establishing the Company’s London office in early 2017. As Head of Communications, Anna manages media relations, investor and capital market relations, in-country public relations and sustainability reporting. Anna is closely involved in SolGold’s strategic decision-making and the development of SolGold’s communications strategy in Ecuador and with Government.
Anna has over 10 years’ experience working in financial and corporate communications and has advised AIM, FTSE100, ASX, JSE and TSX- listed mining companies operating in multiple jurisdictions around the world. Her experience spans crisis communications, M&A transactions, internal communications, and corporate reputation management.

Regional Exploration Manager
Chris is a geologist with over 20 years’ experience focusing on gold and copper exploration across a range of deposit styles. Along with managing exploration in Australia, Chris has spent many years managing international teams in culturally and environmentally diverse regions throughout West Africa, Central Africa, Papua New Guinea and Ecuador. He brings extensive experience in managing large scale exploration in remote and inaccessible terrains. Chris is SolGold’s Regional Exploration Manager overseeing all exploration activities conducted by SolGold’s four Ecuadorian subsidiary companies, Carnegie Ridge Resources S.A, Cruz del Sol S.A., Green Rock Resources S.A. and Valle Rico Resources S.A. Chris coordinates a large number of technical and community relations teams that are successfully operating throughout SolGold’s vast exploration portfolio in Ecuador.
CHIEF TECHNICAL ADVISOR
Dr Steve Garwin has over 28 years of experience as an exploration geologist and is one of the leading authorities on porphyry, epithermal and Carlin‐style mineralization in the circum‐Pacific region and applies methods of structural geology and geochemistry towards gold and base‐metals exploration.
He has previously worked with Newmont Mining for ten years, including two years as Chief Geologist in Nevada, USA. He has been involved with several exploration and mining projects including the Batu Hijau copper-gold porphyry deposit (where he completed his PhD), the Indo Muro, Way Linggo and Tembang epithermal gold‐silver vein systems, and the Mesel sediment‐hosted gold deposit in Indonesia; mines of the Carlin Trend and Battle Mountain district in Nevada; the Whistler gold-copper porphyry deposit in Alaska; and the Santa Barbara gold‐porphyry deposit in south-eastern Ecuador.
Dr Garwin has been an adjunct research fellow at the Centre for Exploration Targeting at the University of Western Australia since 2001 and was appointed a visiting fellow at the Research School of Earth Sciences, Australian National University in 2014.
Steve has been instrumental to date in the recognition of the mineralisation systems at Alpala, and the implementation of state‐of‐the‐art detailed mapping and logging strategies on site. These processes are leading to accurate drill hole targeting and rapid progression to resource definition.
TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Benn is a geologist with 19 years’ experience across multiple commodities in challenging exploration and mine environments in Australia, PNG, New Caledonia, Fiji, Solomon Islands and Ecuador. He brings a diverse range of skills from all stages of the exploration to development cycle for epithermal gold and porphyry style copper and gold deposits.
Benn is Technical Services Manager at the Cascabel project and has been working with Solgold since 2007. He brings experienced and enthusiastic management to the geology department, and field operations, and provides technical authority in the management of drilling programs and the design and management of complex three dimensional geological models.
Benn lead teams responsible for significant discoveries and resource extensions at the world class Emperor Gold Mine in Vatukoula, Fiji, and was a part of the discovery team at the George Fisher Lead-Zinc Deposit, near Mount Isa, Australia.
CHIEF GEOLOGIST, ECUADOR
Santiago is an Ecuadorian geologist with over 13 years of experience in mineral exploration and research, who has worked in Cu-porphyry, epithermal, IOCG and SEDEX deposit types. Santiago has a Masters Degree from The Mineral Deposit Research Unit at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where he studied the proliferous Cu-Au porphyry belt hosted in the Nicola/Takla group. This included the Copper Mountain, Mount Polley and Mount Milligan mines and the Woodjam deposit.
During his career, Santiago has worked for major, intermediate and junior mining companies, with his experience ranging from grassroots regional exploration, to project generation and resource infill drilling. He has been involved with mines and different projects in Ecuador, Western Canada, Western Australia, South Africa, Mexico, USA and Peru.
Santiago joined SolGold in 2014 as Chief Geologist for the Cascabel project and his responsibilites include mapping, drill planning, core-logging, data interpretation and operation support with attention to budget and cost control. He generates technical reports and presentations for management, JV partners, investors, regulatory bodies and communities. Santiago holds a Professional Geoscientist Certification (P.Geo) granted by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in Canada.
